Laika: Aged Through Blood

Laika: Aged Through Blood is an action-adventure Metroidvania set in a post-apocalyptic western world. Play as Laika, a coyote mother and fierce warrior, and carve your motorbike through a land ravaged by betrayal and loss as you uncover dark secrets in the pursuit of vengeance against oppression.

After a troubled initial launch on Nintendo Switch, we stepped in to help Brainwash Gang bring Laika: Aged Through Blood up to standard. In under two months of intensive work, we significantly improved performance, boosting frame rates by up to 10FPS in demanding areas, while also co-designing a refined control scheme tailored to the console’s unique input. Throughout the process, we resolved a wide range of bugs to ensure a seamless and polished experience for players.
